Let’s get practical
Ok you have had a bit of background, and believe me I can talk for hours in-depth about nutrition. But I thought rather than bore you to death, I would lighten things up a bit in this email. And start a series of my own favourite hints & tips.
I am all for shortcuts that help when producing home-cooked food on a budget and as quickly as possible.
Let’s start with a hunger busting / hunger testing tip.
I eat a small piece of fruit & drink some water if I feel hungry
This is to ensure the hunger is real and not down to
Can you identify times of the day when you eat that may be habitual or due to boredom rather than hunger?
This week you could start to make notes about what you eat & when. I would encourage you to note whether its habit, boredom, thirst or other emotional reasons.
This activity will give you a greater insight into not only what you eat, but why you eat.
